ATL Airport CIDs – Strategic Program Plan (SPP)
The Strategic Program Plan (SPP) is a comprehensive program-level plan initiated by the ATL Airport Community Improvement Districts (AACIDs) to assess and address the current and future needs within the AACIDs in the core areas of transportation infrastructure, mobility, public safety, wayfinding, technology, and beautification. Additionally, the SPP will incorporate programmatic marketing, branding, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies and will provide an approach to identifying the related needs of the AACIDs community that align with the mission of “creating an economically strong, safe, attractive and vibrant community surrounding the world’s most-traveled passenger airport.”
The SPP builds upon and prioritizes previous AACIDs planning efforts, including:
- Transit Feasibility Study (2019)
- Freight Cluster Plan (2020)
- AACIDs Public Safety Guide (2022)
- Signage and Wayfinding Report (2018)
- Litter Management Assessment Strategy (2021)
- Virginia Ave. Corridor (2018) / Smart Corridor Study (2019)
- AACIDs Master Plan (2017)
